Lulworth Thatched Roof

We had seen plenty of thatched rooves by now but these were particularly impressive so had to stop for a photo as we were leaving Lulworth Cove. They layer the dry vegetation (straw, water reed, sedge etc) so that the rain water is shed away from the inner roof.
